JUICE RECIPES FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Selected recipes that will help raise your metabolism and burn your calories, enabling your body to burn more fat and lose weight.

Cherry Tomato Juice

Ingredients

Cherry tomatoes 250g
Kiwis 100g
Pears 60g

Instructions

1. Remove the stalk ends of cherry tomatoes.
2. Slice kiwis into 4 parts with the skin.
3. Slice pears in half and divide into 6 parts without peeling.
4. Put cherry tomatoes, kiwis and pears into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

The nutritional components of tomatoes and cherry tomatoes are similar, but cherry tomatoes contain more nutrients per gram.

Kale Spinach Juice

Ingredients

1/4 of pineapple
A handful of kale and spinach

Instructions

1. Remove the skin & the core of the pineapple, and trim & cut the kale & the spinach in the right size.
2. Close the lever and extract, alternating between the leafy vegetables and the pineapple.
3. When putting the last ingredients in, place the lever in half-opened position to release compressed pulp.
4. Pour into cup to serve, add a small slice of pineapple as garnish (optional).

Celery Juice

Ingredients

Celery 250g

Instructions

1. Water celery has lots of long and tough fibers, so cut them up into pieces of about 3cm each.
2. Close the lever and put a handful of the celery pieces into the slow juicer.
3. When the juice extraction process is almost finished, place the lever in half-opened position to release the compressed pulp.
4. If the machine gets stuck, or the lid cannot be opened, alternating the machine modes between reverse mode & normal rotation repeatedly.

Tips & Notes

1. If you find the taste of pure celery juice too strong, trying juicing one cucumber and/or one apple with the celery.

Cabbage Juice

Ingredients

Cabbage 250g

Instructions

1. Cut cabbage into chunky pieces. Do not chop them up too finely.
2. Close the lever and insert the cabbage chunks slowly. Wait a short while between each insertion.
3. When extraction is almost finished, put the lever in half-opened position to release the compressed pulp.
4. Pour juice into a cup and serve. Juice another batch of pear juice and add to remove acrid taste.

Tips & Notes

1. When juicing the cabbage, you might hear a crunching sound. This is normal because the surface of cabbage is smooth and not moisturized.
2. If you don't like the acrid taste of cabbage, juice the cabbage with pears to remove the acrid taste. 

Apple Beet Juice

Ingredients

1 apple
1 piece of beet
1 slice of lemon

Instructions

1. Remove the seeds and the stem of an apple, and cut the beet and the lemon with skin in right size.
2. Close the lever, and extract beet-apple in order.
3. When putting the last ingredients in, place the lever in half-opened position to release the compressed pulp.

Tips & Notes

The taste of the juice may differ depending on the size and the sugar content of the apple, so adjust the amount of beet and lemon according to your preference.

Tomato Juice

Ingredients

Tomatoes

Instructions

1. Remove the stalk of tomato.
2. Close the lever, insert the tomatoes into the slow juicer, and operate it.
3. When extraction is almost finished, open up the lever halfway to release the compressed pulp.
4. Bottle the juice up and enjoy.

Green Bio Juice

Ingredients

Broccoli 130g
Kale 100g
Pineapples 80g
Pears 180g

Instructions

1. Chop broccoli and kale into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length.
2. Slice pears in half and divide into 6 parts with the skin.
3. Peel pineapples; divide into 4 parts; and slice into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length.
4. Put broccoli, kale, pineapples and pears into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

As kale is strongly fibrous, chop into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length before juicing.

Popeye Juice

Ingredients

Celery 70g
Spinach 100g
Apples 230g

Instructions

1. Chop celery and spinach into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length.
2. Remove seeds from apples; cut in half and divide into 4 parts.
3. Put celeries, spinaches and apples into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

The stems and leaves of the celery are all suitable for juicing.

Apple Cucumber Spinach Juice

Ingredients

Apple 290g
Spinach 30g
Cucumber 70g

Instructions

1. Cut off the ends of the cucumber, remove prickles, and slice into appropriate sizes.
2. Wash spinach leaves thoroughly
3. Remove the seeds from the apple, and slice.
4. Put the lever on your Hurom slow juicer to “close.” Insert ingredients to extract.
5. When all of the ingredients have been put in, switch lever to “half-open” position.
6. Allow the compressed pulp to be expelled from the drum.
