Still Young Today

Ingredients

Blueberries 50g
Blackberries 50g
Oranges 220g
Pears 50g

Instructions

1. Chop orange in half and divide into 4 parts after peeling.
2. Slice pears in half and divide into 6 parts, leaving the skin on (or peel them off if you prefer it that way).
3. Put blueberries, blackberries, oranges and pears into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

If frozen blueberries and blackberries are used, slightly thaw the ingredients before juicing to prevent exerting your juicer too much.

Young Looking Skin

Ingredients

Bell Peppers 100g
Kiwi 80g
Lemons 10g
Strawberries 100g
Oranges 160g

Instructions

1. Remove the stalk ends of strawberries.
2. Chop bell peppers into smaller pieces, about 4 cm in length per piece.
3. Slice kiwi into 4 parts with the skin, leaving the skin on (or off if you prefer it that way).
4. Peel oranges and lemons; slice in half and divide into 4 parts.
5. Put bell peppers, kiwis, strawberries, oranges and lemons into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

1. Acidic fruits such as kiwis, oranges and lemons accelerate the secretion of gastric acid in your stomach, which may lead to heartburn.
2. As such, avoid taking them on an empty stomach or before sleeping.

Secret Woman

Ingredients

Boiled Soybeans 150g
Pomegranates 190g
Grapes 150g

Instructions

1. Soak the soybeans in water for about a day and boil
2. Pluck out the pomegranates and grapes one by one.
3. Put pomegranates, boiled soy beans and grapes (in this order) into the Hurom juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

Here are 2 methods to help make peeling a pomegranate easy for you:

1. Slice off the top and the bottom of a pomegranate. Score around the sides six times, scrape the rind and remove white skin particles.
2. Cut a pomegranate in half horizontally and turn the seeds over. With a spoon, tap on the peel to release the seeds.

Popeye Juice

Ingredients

Celery 70g
Spinach 100g
Apples 230g

Instructions

1. Chop celery and spinach into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length.
2. Remove seeds from apples; cut in half and divide into 4 parts.
3. Put celeries, spinaches and apples into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

The stems and leaves of the celery are all suitable for juicing.

Carrot Juice

Ingredients

Carrots 300g

Instructions

1. Carrots are hard in texture, so cut them into finger size to make it less strenuous on your juicer to juice.
2. Close the lever, put the carrots in the machine, and operate it.
3. When extraction is almost completed, put the lever in the half-opened position to release the compressed pulp.

Tips & Notes

1. You can extract the juice of carrots more easily when you juicer them together with fruits that have lots of juicer, such as apples and oranges.
2. For people who do not like green vegetable juice, juicing a carrot banana juice is a good alternative.

Kale Spinach Juice

Ingredients

1/4 of pineapple
A handful of kale and spinach

Instructions

1. Remove the skin & the core of the pineapple, and trim & cut the kale & the spinach in the right size.
2. Close the lever and extract, alternating between the leafy vegetables and the pineapple.
3. When putting the last ingredients in, place the lever in half-opened position to release compressed pulp.
4. Pour into cup to serve, add a small slice of pineapple as garnish (optional).

Orange Carrot Juice

Ingredients

Orange 200g
Carrot 100g
Apple 140g

Instructions

1. Peel the orange, and slice into appropriate sizes.
2. Wash the carrots thoroughly, remove the seeds from the apple. Slice them up into smaller pieces.
3. Put lever on “close", and start juicing, alternating between the insertion of orange, carrot, and apple.
4. Once two-thirds of the ingredients have been extracted, switch lever to the “half-open” position. This allows pulp to be expelled from drum.
5. Continue extracting the rest of the ingredients.

Tips & Notes

Health Benefits — The plentiful vitamin C in the orange creates a synergy with the β-carotene and vitamin A in the carrot, allowing increased absorption of nutrients in the body.

Apple Cucumber Spinach Juice

Ingredients

Apple 290g
Spinach 30g
Cucumber 70g

Instructions

1. Cut off the ends of the cucumber, remove prickles, and slice into appropriate sizes.
2. Wash spinach leaves thoroughly
3. Remove the seeds from the apple, and slice.
4. Put the lever on your Hurom slow juicer to “close.” Insert ingredients to extract.
5. When all of the ingredients have been put in, switch lever to “half-open” position.
6. Allow the compressed pulp to be expelled from the drum.
