JUICE RECIPES FOR HEALTH

Selected recipes that boast immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties that will bring lots of health benefits to your body.

Good Digestion Juice

Ingredients

Pineapples 280g
Kiwis 180g

Instructions

1. Slice kiwis into 4 parts without peeling off the skin.
2. Remove pineapple rinds and divide the fruit into 4 parts.
3. Slice pineapples into smaller pieces with about 4cm in length.
4. Put the pineapples and kiwis pieces into your Hurom slow juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

When washed thoroughly, kiwis can be used unpeeled.

Blood Care Juice

Ingredients

Celery 50g
Kiwi 50g
Kale 60g
Angelica Utilis Makino 80g
Apple 140g

Instructions

1. Chop celeries, Angelica Utilis Makino and kales into smaller pieces with about 3-4cm in length
2. Slice kiwis into 4 parts without peeling.
3. Remove seeds from apples and slice into 4 parts.
4. Put celeries, kiwis, Angelica Utilis Makino, apples and kales into your Hurom slow juicer and juice them.

Tips & Notes

In case of Angelica Utilis Makino, the upper part of its stem is thick and hard, so cut them into smaller pieces before juicing.

Health Plus Juice

Ingredients

Boiled Soybeans 150g
Pomegranates 190g
Grapes 150g

Instructions

1. Soak the soybeans in water for about a day and boil
2. Pluck out the pomegranates and grapes one by one.
3. Put pomegranates, boiled soy beans and grapes (in this order) into the Hurom juicer and juice.

Tips & Notes

Here are 2 methods to help make peeling a pomegranate easy for you:

1. Slice off the top and the bottom of a pomegranate. Score around the sides six times, scrape the rind and remove white skin particles.
2. Cut a pomegranate in half horizontally and turn the seeds over. With a spoon, tap on the peel to release the seeds.

Detoxification Juice

Ingredients

Broccoli
Cabbage
Tomato
Carrot
Banana
Apple

Instructions

1. Cut broccoli, cabbages, tomatoes and carrots into cube-sized pieces.
2. Pour water until ingredients are covered, boil all ingredients well & cool them down.
3. Close the lever, start inserting the ingredients into your Hurom slow juicers & extract
4. Lastly, insert bananas and apples after you've inserted the boiled ingredients, & extract them.

Apple Beet Juice

Ingredients

1 apple
1 piece of beet
1 slice of lemon

Instructions

1. Remove the seeds and the stem of an apple, and cut the beet and the lemon with skin in right size.
2. Close the lever, and extract beet-apple in order.
3. When putting the last ingredients in, place the lever in half-opened position to release the compressed pulp.

Tips & Notes

The taste of the juice may differ depending on the size and the sugar content of the apple, so adjust the amount of beet and lemon according to your preference.

Tomato Juice

Ingredients

Tomatoes

Instructions

1. Remove the stalk of tomato.
2. Close the lever, insert the tomatoes into the slow juicer, and operate it.
3. When extraction is almost finished, open up the lever halfway to release the compressed pulp.
4. Bottle the juice up and enjoy.

Grapefruit Pine Juice

Ingredients

1/3 of grapefruit
1/4 of pineapple

Instructions

1. Remove skin of the pineapple and the grapefruit, and cut them in right size.
2. Extract the juice of each fruit separately using the fine strainer, in different batches.
3. Pour the pineapple juice into the cup first.
4. Pour grapefruit juice on the pineapple juice slowly.

Orange Carrot Juice

Ingredients

Orange 200g
Carrot 100g
Apple 140g

Instructions

1. Peel the orange, and slice into appropriate sizes.
2. Wash the carrots thoroughly, remove the seeds from the apple. Slice them up into smaller pieces.
3. Put lever on “close", and start juicing, alternating between the insertion of orange, carrot, and apple.
4. Once two-thirds of the ingredients have been extracted, switch lever to the “half-open” position. This allows pulp to be expelled from drum.
5. Continue extracting the rest of the ingredients.

Tips & Notes

Health Benefits — The plentiful vitamin C in the orange creates a synergy with the β-carotene and vitamin A in the carrot, allowing increased absorption of nutrients in the body.

Apple Cucumber Spinach Juice

Ingredients

Apple 290g
Spinach 30g
Cucumber 70g

Instructions

1. Cut off the ends of the cucumber, remove prickles, and slice into appropriate sizes.
2. Wash spinach leaves thoroughly
3. Remove the seeds from the apple, and slice.
4. Put the lever on your Hurom slow juicer to “close.” Insert ingredients to extract.
5. When all of the ingredients have been put in, switch lever to “half-open” position.
6. Allow the compressed pulp to be expelled from the drum.
